About the conference
Hosted at Don Bosco College, Panjim, Goa — DBC-IC 2027 brings together research across psychology, English and 5 interdisciplinary themes.
The Departments of Psychology and English, Don Bosco College, Panjim, Goa, India, organise the 1st International Conference on the theme “Intellect, Intent, and Innovation: Navigating the Human Experience in the Automation Age”, on 22nd & 23rd January 2027. The conference is designed to provide a dynamic platform for academicians, researchers, professionals, students and practitioners to engage with emerging ideas, contemporary research and interdisciplinary perspectives — combining academic exchange with opportunities for learning, networking and professional growth.

The Bachelor of Arts in Psychology program encourages students to explore the complexities of human behavior, cognition, and emotional well-being. Department of English
Designed to cultivate critical thinking, refined writing skills, and intellectual curiosity, the program nurtures a deep appreciation for diverse literary traditions. The curriculum offers opportunities for independent research, creative expression, and interdisciplinary learning. Through essays, projects, and discussions, students are encouraged to think critically and communicate with clarity and confidence.
